I am so grateful to share “Chakras by didi” with you. My simple mission is to educate, inspire and spread my love of yoga through fashion with women around the world. Ever since I started practicing in 2001, I have often asked myself why yoga makes me feel so good. The initial answer was because I lost a whole size after attending just four classes that week! Naturally thereafter, I gained more self confidence. I have always been a sporty girl but it was always difficult to achieve a leaner body. Yoga gave me that.
As a result of my on-going mini metamorphoses, I wanted to do something significant that would inspire more people to practice yoga and begin to experience it for themselves. You will find in my first “Classic Collection”, the name of each pose in English and Sanskrit. I often express confusion on my face if my teacher doesn’t say the pose in English as so often we are not taught the names in Sanskrit. One of my goals is to help you learn them by wearing them on your body! In addition, you will find the benefits of each pose listed on the hangtag.
Most women that I know love to wear something that makes them feel good, in and out of class. I am confident that Chakras by didi will do just that. The cuts are carefully designed to suit many body types. You will feel stylish, comfortable and uplifted.
By having more and more yoginis wear my garments, I hope to open numerous conversations about yoga in order for you to inspire a new friend to practice.
